File size changes opening databases of earlier version due to system table.

Cause:

To use a database of an earlier Access version without converting it, Access 7.0 has to create a new system table. The new system table stores the database's Visual Basic translation of the Access Basic procedures. This is by design of Access 7.0.

Solution:

There is no workaround.
